What self-care techniques or activities do you do?
Meditation, walking in nature, reading, comedy.
A wonderful and enriching experience with a caring therapist inspired me to want to help others understand their minds better too.
What are your specialties?
Trauma, grief and loss, major life transitions, depression and anxiety.
Why do you believe that counseling can help?
I have deep faith that understanding the mind, examining emotions, and observing where one’s attention flows can help each of us live a life of value and meaning.
Did you have a career before becoming a therapist?
I dabbled in theatre and marketing throughout my 20s. I realized I didn’t have the passion for those pursuits that you need to be successful, and instead I found a profession that sang to me.
Why is it important to seek counseling?
You do not have to accept suffering.
