What self-care techniques or activities do you do?
Travel, play with my dog, eat delicious foods, spend time with my family and read. Spending time by the water is also balancing and a self care practice.
Mood disorders, relationship issues, trauma, as well as sexual and identity issues.
Why do you believe that counseling can help?
Because there is always hope and the capacity for change.
Did you have a career before becoming a therapist?
Being a mom to my 4 kids. I have basically “grown up” as a social worker and person simultaneously, as many of us do.
Why is it important to seek counseling?
Solutions to problems are found through relationships, including the relationship between therapist and client.
