Aimee Daramus, PsyD
Aimee Daramus, Psy.D., is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who earned her doctorate and her Master’s in Counseling at Adler University. Aimee specializes in working with adults with bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, trauma, personality disorders, and psychotic and dissociative disorders.
Aimee welcomes clients of every race, sex, gender, and religion. Aimee believes that since no one approach to therapy can treat everyone, it is important to have a variety of methods to address the client’s concerns. She is competent in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Interpersonal Therapy.
She also uses HRV biofeedback and is developing her knowledge and skills in the therapeutic application of video games, phone apps, and social media to enhance therapy. This allows her to provide clients with a treatment plan that is evidence-based and personalized to optimize the client’s response to treatment.
