Alexandria Champagne is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience working with adult in individual, couples, and group therapeutic settings. She earned her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Michigan and has been providing long-term therapy for almost 5 years. Her clinical work is guided by the principal that clients are the experts of their own lives. Alex strives to create a collaborative, empathic space in which clients feel validated and supported in their journey towards their healing goals. Alex’s approach is client-centered and integrative, pulling strongly from feminist, relational, and anti-oppression therapeutic frameworks. Alex is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) modalities.
Her clinical interests include anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues (with an emphasis on non-traditional relationships), sexuality, gender, and LGBTQ+ issues. She is a kink & poly affirming therapist with experience and interest in sexual health education and sex therapy practices.
