Chicago – N. Michigan Ave
Allison is a Licensed Professional Counselor who earned her dual Master’s degree in Counseling and Applied Behavior Analysis from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Allison provides individual and couples therapy to those looking to strengthen their relationships, ameliorate symptoms, and improve their quality of life. As the client explores who they are in a safe and supportive environment, Allison empowers the person to move away from things that no longer work and towards a preferred way of being. The process is one of discovery and transformation that honors both who the client is and what they wish to become. Allison will collaborate with the client utilizing evidence-based therapies, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic processing, and Applied Behavioral Analysis. Areas of interest include anxiety, depression, relationship issues and trauma. Through compassion, committed action, and curiosity, treatment will support the client in living out narratives that support the development and emergence of the preferred self.
