Anna Andersen is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from North Park University.

Anna provides individual therapy to those looking to develop their identities, reduce symptoms, and build a life they enjoy. Anna has experience working with adults of all ages struggling with grief and loss, anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, relationship issues, coping with chronic medical conditions, women’s issues, stress management, self-esteem, career transitions, weight and body issues, life transitions, as well as end-of-life issues and hospice.

Anna values meeting clients where they are and teaches them to value their uniqueness, utilizing a myriad of techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), internal family systems (IFS), and gestalt theory. Her theoretical orientation is person-centered, humanistic, and existential.

Prior to joining Urban Balance, Anna worked as Management Consultant for a variety of Fortune 500 companies in the areas of accounting, financial analysis, financial planning as well as program and project management.
