Arthur Avalos is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) providing services to adults. Arthur works collaboratively with his clients to help guide them in discovering and living out their most authentic self. Through a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Client-centered Therapy, he provides opportunities for his clients to be able to learn new ways to manage difficult thoughts, feelings and experiences.
Arthur believes that providing a safe, non-judgmental and supportive environment is most important to a strong and thriving therapeutic relationship. Arthur’s clinical interests include behavioral issues, mood impairment, anxiety, life transitions, work/life balance, self-esteem, substance abuse, chronic medical issues, crisis management and issues unique to the LGBTQ population.
Arthur earned his Master’s degree in Community Counseling from Argosy University and continues to pursue training to meet the needs of his clients.
