Bria Harris is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Professional Counseling with a concentration in clinical child and family studies from Roosevelt University Chicago. Bria has experience in inpatient and partial hospitalization settings. She also has experience connecting clients to clinically appropriate resources through an EAP. Bria enjoys working with children and adolescents. Her clinical interests include depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, parent/child conflict, and crisis intervention.
Bria strongly believes in providing a safe, culturally competent space. She believes the client is the expert on their life experiences and that children’s experiences are valid as well. She incorporates client centered and CBT approaches into treatment. Bria believes mental health should be easily accessible and affordable to everyone, and she hopes to reduce stigma associated with mental health, especially in minority, underserved communities.
