Brittany Billingslea is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who works with individuals, families, children/adolescents and groups. Brittany has experience working in inpatient, partial, and outpatient settings with adults and adolescents. She specializes in treating anxiety, depression, adjustment/life-cycle transition issues, self-esteem, and relationship difficulties. Brittany is a graduate from the Adler School of Professional Psychology, where she obtained a Master’s Degree and concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy. Brittany utilizes a client-centered/non-judgmental approach so that clients recognize their own strengths and skills, and can work toward improving overall health and wellness, as well as overcome interpersonal stress and hardships. Brittany enjoys working with a diversity of clients, and conducts therapy based on the client’s goals for treatment. As such, sessions are relaxed and informal, grounded in trust and a positive working relationship so that treatment is individualized and effective. Brittany is well versed in a variety of therapy models including Cognitive Behavioral, Strength-based, Dialectical Behavioral, Solution-focused, and Family System’s.
