Callie Thompson is a Licensed Professional Counselor who is deeply passionate about helping others. She has experience working with adults of all ages, couples, adolescents, and refugees and asylum seekers. Callie enjoys working with those struggling to navigate everyday life issues as well as those experiencing more serious mental health issues, such as mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and trauma. Callie typically employs methods from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, trauma-informed therapies, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches. She also recently completed Level 2 Training in the Gottman Method of Couples Therapy. Callie will listen to the client’s story with a non-judgmental, curious, and compassionate ear. She is very down to earth and loves to incorporate humor when she can. Callie believes that communication is key in all human relationships, and she will work to build skills and self-confidence with her clients to reach their treatment goals, needs and desires. Callie earned her Master’s in Counseling from St. Edward’s University.
