Christina Tri is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) providing services to adults and couples. She believes mental health is as important as physical health, and that anyone can benefit from counseling. She believes providing a safe, nurturing, and non-judgmental space are critical components in creating a strong therapeutic alliance. Believing therapy should be tailored to each client, she draws upon an integrative approach that includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and mindfulness. Christina’s specialty area is working with clients who have chronic health concerns/invisible disabilities. Additional areas of interest include mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, self-esteem, substance abuse, and life transitions. She earned her Master’s Degree from Roosevelt University and has worked as a counselor in a substance abuse treatment center as well as private practice.
