Colleen Nolan is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) who earned her Master’s at Adler University. Colleen’s professional and clinical interests are substance use, anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, depression, interpersonal conflicts, mood management, self-esteem, crisis management, and life transitions. Colleen has experience working in previous settings such as partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and residential treatment with adults and adolescents. She primarily draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and also utilizes mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy.
Her approach is directive and allows individuals to explore challenges, distorted thinking, and barriers to progression. She strives to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space for clients to cultivate self-awareness and coping skills to create a more balanced fulfilling life.
