Enrique is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with an interest in supporting individuals around concerns including depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationships, race and identity, emerging adulthood, self-esteem and performance. He graduated from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and takes a person-centered approach to therapy. Enrique believes therapy is an applied experience and emphasizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy concepts while joining existential, and humanistic perspectives to better understand each person’s inner and outer experience.
Clients who have experienced Enrique in session describe him as laid back and approachable. He has worked with adults, adolescents, and persons of color who are exploring their authentic selves in pursuit of a more integrated way of life. It is qualities like authenticity, vulnerability, and humanity that Enrique believes elevate individuals into a deeper experience of themselves and the world around them.
