Heloisa G. R. Roach holds a Master’s Degree in Community Counseling from Argosy University. She is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). Heloisa approaches therapy as a tool of integrative self-awareness, empowerment and action. Further, she learned from her training and practice that exploring personal experiences, relationships and challenges takes courage. Thus, she implements a collaborative, empathic and nonjudgemental approach to promoting meaningful change in counseling. Heloisa follows a Client-Centered approach while integrating Solution-Focused, Cognitive Behavioral as well as Family Systems Theory. Her areas of experience include Adjustment Disorders, Anxiety, CBT, Codependency, Communication Issues, Conflict Resolution, Cross-Cultural Issues, Depression, Divorce, LGBTQIA, Life Transitions, Marital/Relationship, Premarital Issues, Self-Esteem, Social Anxiety, Stress Management, Women’s Issues and Work/Life Balance. She has served as Vice President and Student Mentor Coordinator for the Phi Gamma Sigma Chapter of the Chi Sigma Iota International Counseling Honor Society. 

Heloisa holds a B.A. in Psychology from Marymount Manhattan College, an M.F.A. in Design and Technology from Parsons The New School for Design, and a B.F.A. in Time-Based Media Studies from the Columbus College of Art and Design with a Minor in Art Therapy.
