Jaci Biere is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s degree in Social Work and a specialization in mental health. Jaci has experience working with adults, adolescents and children in school and community mental health settings. Her experience includes working with those with severe and persistent mood disorders, trauma, behavioral disorders and adjustment disorders. Jaci works with individuals who present with a variety of issues including anxiety disorders, depression, stress management, trauma, grief and loss, women’s health problems, addictions, relational abuse, life-stage adjustment, navigating sexual and gender identity, eating disorders, family of origin issues, and behavioral disorders in children and adolescents. Jaci believes in the necessity of a strong therapeutic alliance, and utilizes a person-centered, nonjudgmental approach that aims to make clients feel safe, validated, and hopeful for recovery. She believes that clients are the experts on themselves, and therapy serves as a tool to help recognize patterns, articulate desires, and move towards healing. 

Jaci uses several therapeutic modalities based on the needs of her clients, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused CBT/Na­­rrative Therapy, Art Therapy and Motivational Interviewing.
