Jim Franko is a bilingual (English and Spanish) Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who specializes in working with adults and adolescents dealing with anxiety, depression, life transitions, and family as well as interpersonal relationship issues. His approach is based in a supportive, collaborative relationship that helps the client identify practical ways of dealing with life’s challenges.
He sees counseling as a useful tool people can use for overcoming difficult periods or simply functioning more capably. These facets of Jim’s style assist clients in achieving their goals. With extensive experience working with adolescents, adults and families of all backgrounds, Jim brings enthusiasm into sessions aimed at individuals improving their quality of life.
Jim holds a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Lewis University. In addition, he has completed an Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy externship.
