Karen Levine trained to be a counselor at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri and has been licensed to provide psychotherapy in Colorado since 2004. She provides therapy and support to clients ranging in age from young adults to older individuals. She treats a variety of presenting issues including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, grief, life transitions, family-relationship concerns, as well as general stress. Her therapeutic approach includes being person-centered while holding safe space so individuals can explore their own thoughts and feelings. She utilizes evidenced-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness.
