Kathy T. McCall is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and a Certified Anger Management Specialist- II. Kathy earned her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Adler University. Prior to joining Urban Balance, Kathy has worked in a variety of settings including an Employee Assistance Program, community mental health and outreach settings, and the Chicago Public School system. Kathy’s clinical interests include anxiety, depression, grief and loss, parenting, substance abuse, anger management, work/life balance, and conflict resolution.

Kathy provides a safe, nonjudgmental therapeutic environment, while incorporating various tools, knowledge and support to navigate the complexities of her clients’ lives. Her approach is based on the client’s presenting issues and strengths that may assist them in attaining their treatment goals. Kathy is passionate about wanting to help individuals and families holistically address challenges so that they can work towards living and maintaining a meaningful life.
