Lindsay Wolff is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who works with individuals, families, children/adolescents, and couples. Lindsay has experience in treating mood disorders, anxiety, depression, relational concerns, LGBTQ needs, life transitions, and grief/loss. As a graduate from University of Illinois-Chicago specializing in Children and Families and Mental Health her work experience includes inpatient and outpatient hospital settings. Lindsay approaches therapy with the belief and understanding that each person is unique and comes with their own strengths and skills that can help them live more closely to their ideal sense of self. Utilizing a client centered, non judgemental approach, she focuses on assisting clients in gaining a deeper understanding of themselves so that they are empowered to effectively cope and make positive changes. She combines psychodynamic theory, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to help the client increase their insight and affect the changes they desire.
Sessions are relaxed in nature with a strong focus on providing a safe environment for the client/therapist relationship to flourish so clients can achieve their goals.
