Lyla Wakut is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Masters of Social Work degree from the University of Southern California. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings including schools, substance abuse treatment programs, and hospitals.
Lyla specializes in working with individuals who have experienced trauma, loss, depression, anxiety and issues related to attachment. Lyla is most passionate about working with parents who are experiencing perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. As a bicultural woman of color, Lyla strives to provide a safe space where her clients feel respected and empowered. Her therapeutic orientation is integrative and includes cognitive behavioral, client centered and holistic approaches.
