Maria Barrera is a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience working with adults, adolescents, and children providing individual, couples, and family therapy.

Maria’s clinical foundation is rooted client centered and strength-based approaches, both which foster a respectful and safe environment to explore and process emotions and areas of desired change. Maria has extensive experience working with those experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, attachment issues, relational issues, and major life transitions.

Maria will also incorporate use of additional therapeutic modalities depending on the client’s presentation, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness techniques, and Family Systems.
