Megan Brese is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who received her Master’s degree in Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She has experience providing individual and group therapy to adults in behavioral health and hospital settings. She specializes in anxiety, depression, trauma and stress-related issues. Megan has worked with clients utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Distress Tolerance, Interpersonal Effectiveness, Behavioral Activation, and Mindfulness to assist them in addressing a wide variety of needs.

Megan believes in the importance of empathy, respect and support in the therapeutic relationship, meeting clients where they are, and working collaboratively on goals. Megan strives to help clients identify their strengths and helps them find the tools they need to promote growth and healing, while also providing compassion and warmth.
