Mercedes Wilburn, LPC
St. Louis – Clayton
Mercedes Wilburn is a Licensed Professional Counselor with 19 years of experience working in various mental health settings. Mercedes has held many positions in her career, ranging from working in an acute care hospital setting to a provider relations position focused on improving services received by clients. It was through this journey that she realized the commonality between all her positions; a genuine interest in the person’s life and supporting them in finding resolutions. Mercedes earned her Master’s in counseling from Lindenwood University. She enjoys learning and attending professional development opportunities to enhance her skills. As a professional counselor, Mercedes has supported clients presenting with anxiety, depression, thoughts of suicide, self-harm, low self-esteem, grief and loss, anger, life transitions, crisis care, and conflict resolution. Her focus populations are adults, adolescents, children, and seniors. Mercedes offers individual and group counseling, brief solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, telehealth, and mindfulness.
All of her sessions are approached from a client-centered perspective and foundation. Mercedes looks forward to working with more members of the military and their families.
