Michael is a Licensed Social Worker with a Master’s degree in social work and specialization in mental health. He studied at Loyola University School of Social Work (MSW) and trained at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Counseling Centers of Illinois. Michael counsels adults, adolescents, and their families with a client-centered lens using Trauma-informed, Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectical Behavioral, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy approaches. Michael believes in creating a safe, empathic, and warm environment, which he views as an essential component of the healing process. Michael seeks to collaborate and provide the necessary support to help clients achieve their treatment goals.
