Michele Chandler is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over thirty-five years of clinical experience working with a wide variety of populations ranging in age from toddlers to seniors. Michele earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin, where she also taught at the graduate level for ten years. She has worked in a variety of settings, including private practice, foster care and adoption agencies and a medical practice for chronic pain. She specializes in working with individuals who have experienced trauma and loss in their lives, those living with depression, anxiety, chronic pain and illness, codependency, and those experiencing life transitions. She has extensive experience working with couples and families, facilitating improved communication, a greater understanding of one another, and skills to cope with and overcome life’s challenges more effectively. Michele believes her role is that of a guide in one’s journey of healing, self-awareness and growth. She draws from a variety of therapeutic approaches, skills and experiences to help clients safely address difficult life stages and to create new and healthier ways to manage their lives.
