Rachel Kennedy is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with eight years of experience in the field. Rachel is passionate about working with individuals impacted by infertility and perinatal mental health concerns. She completed training from Postpartum Support International and 2020 Mom to obtain a certificate specialization in therapy to support maternal mental health.
Rachel believes it is vital to support moms and families from challenges with fertility to pregnancy and through the postpartum period. Other areas of focus include grief and loss, life transitions, relationship issues, anxiety disorders, and depression. Additionally, Rachel has experience working with individuals living with cancer and their caregivers and specialized in Health Psychology while earning her Masters Degree at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She understands how changes in physical health can significantly impact emotional well being, relationships, and daily routines.
Rachel utilizes a collaborative, strengths based approach while incorporating tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy into her work with clients. Rachel feels therapy should be comfortable and accessible and strives to create a non-judgmental, safe space for clients to explore and grow as they work towards their goals.
