Raven G. Curling is a Licensed Professional Counselor who earned her Master of Arts in Counseling and Organizational Psychology from Adler University. She works with adolescents, adults, couples and families. She utilizes an integrative style that is comprised of Adlerian, Cognitive Behavioral, Existential and Narrative techniques. Raven’s professional experience stems from background in higher education and non-profit organizations, with missions driven towards childhood education, youth, HIV proliferation and LGBTQ advocacy and support. Her interests includes career issues, chronic illness, mood disorders, self-esteem, grief and loss, relationship and interpersonal conflicts, family and parenting conflicts, women’s issues and work/life balance. Raven is dedicated to creating an environment that is centered on trust, understanding, warmth and awareness as foundational pieces of the therapeutic relationship. This foundation will allow the client to drive the process while providing non-judgmental support and advocacy to produce a sense of enlightenment and overall wellness. She believes that a collaborative relationship will help to create tools such as positive coping skills, and the act of being present.
