Sarah is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has been in the field of mental health since 2004. She received her Master’s degree from the Jane Addams College of Social Work at the University of Illinois Chicago and is certified in Perinatal Mental Health.
Her therapeutic style is grounded in systems theory and she takes a strengths-based approach with clients, believing that each client can draw from their innate strengths to make change and meet their goals. Sarah works with individuals dealing with anxiety disorders, mood disorders, work-life balance issues, parenting concerns, life transitions and pre- and post- partum mood disorders.
Prior to joining Urban Balance, Sarah worked in private practice, with corporate EAPs and community mental health.
