Tania Boisson, LCPC

Tania Boisson is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who works with adults, adolescents, and families. She has special interest in the treatment of trauma, issues related to cultural identity development, as well as relational problems. She seeks to create a supportive atmosphere to help foster the therapeutic relationship. Tania utilizes an integrative approach in treatment and believes in collaborating with clients to help them meet their goals and achieve wellness. She received her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Northwestern University. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Tania’s training has been in community mental health where she gained experience working with clients that have symptoms of severe and persistent mental illness, trauma, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, self-esteem issues, and adjustment disorders. Tania is also the Student Care Coordinator at Oakton Community College.
