Yana Patrun is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) who has worked with adults, adolescents, children and families for over five years in community mental health and academic settings. Prior to joining Urban Balance, Yana was part of the management team at a nonprofit organization, facilitating trauma informed trainings and providing clinical supervision in addition to therapy. She has extensive experience in working with trauma survivors and uses an integrative, strength based approach. Yana draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness and Solution Focused Brief Therapy methods to meet each client’s unique needs.
