Shana Stein is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has experience working with individuals, couples, and families in English as well as Spanish. Shana has experience working with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, acculturation, self-harm, couples/family/parenting, and adoption issues. She combines psychodynamic psychotherapy, family systems, solution-focused, cognitive behavioral, and play therapy with her clients depending on their needs. Shana offers a warm, safe, non-judgmental space where clients are empowered to design realistic goals for therapy. She also works as a bilingual therapist at The Bridge Youth and Family Services in Palatine, IL, providing services for kids 0-17 and their families. In the past, she interned at the Family Institute at Northwestern University and MaineStay Youth and Family Services in Park Ridge, Il. Shana received her Masters of Counseling from Northwestern University and has a MFA in Fine Art from Cranbrook Academy of Art.
