“See Me Queerly” Group

Date: March 29th – May 31st 
Time: Mondays, 6-7 pm CT
Cost: Sliding Scale Pay, $20-50/group session
Location: Urban Balance Virtual Group

Description: The purpose of this group is to offer a space and community to individuals in the Queer communities who are struggling with their identities and/or feel as though there isn’t space for them in the communities. Especially during COVID-19, community is important because it is even harder to find. Clients will find that support and community in this group. Clients get to talk through their struggles and seek validation and support from one another.

quarantine support group for young professionals

Date: April 5th, April 12th, April 19th, and May 3rd
Time:
Mondays, 8-9 pm CT
Cost: $25/group
Location: Urban Balance Virtual Group

Description: This group will serve as a space for young professionals (18-35) who are living alone or feeling lonely to build connection and social support during this pandemic.

    Description: Living with a chronic illness can present challenges in many realms of life – physical, psychological, professional, social and relational. Talking with others who have similar struggles can feel supportive and offer new ideas to overcome obstacles and increase quality of life and fulfillment.

    Supporting a Chronically-Ill Loved One

    Date: April 7th – May 12th
    Time: Wednesdays, 7-8 pm CT

    Description: When you have a close relationship with someone living with a chronic illness, you may be impacted by their struggles. Day to day functioning, such as important conversations, making plans, and sharing responsibilities can be challenging. This group is designed to support caregivers and others supporting those who are chronically ill. Group participants can expect to share their stories, increase their resilience, and gain effective coping skills.

    Anxiety Support Group

    Date: April 6th – May 11th
    Time: Tuesdays, 7-8 pm CT

    Description: Anxiety symptoms can present in different ways, including perfectionistic tendencies, the need to control situations, overanalyzing behaviors, ruminating thinking patterns, and more.     Men’s Support Group

    Grieving the Loss of a Loved One During The Pandemic

    Description: During this unprecedented time, this grief support group offers a space where you can talk freely and without judgment about the loss of a loved one during the pandemic.
